Fear and Desire are controllers ,

You must choose but one of the two.

One will keep you from winning,

The other will help get you through.

 

Fear keeps you where you’ve always been,

Then fear will lock the door.

Desire unlocks new ways to win,

Then helps you become so much more

 

Desire and fear are factors

 That determine how you live.

And only you can choose 

To which the power you’ll give.

 

Choose fear and you’ll go no farther.

You’ll give up on your dreams and just stop

 

Choose Desire and you will keep on climbing,

During a crisis, I may wonder if I will ever again be free of worry and stress. Then, as I become quiet and allow my total focus to be on the presence of My Higher Power, I experience the peace and the immediate relief that my awareness of this peace brings to me.
What I have discovered is more than just a few moments of peace during a difficult time. I have discovered that peace is my constant reality because within me He is my constant source of peace.

I don’t want to think about what would have happened if I had not taken that moment to connect to my inner peace on a conscious level. I do want to remember what happened because I did take that moment. The experience was one of instant relief that helped me make it through a challenge.

Even before the blossom of a vibrant and glorious flower begins to fade and wither, the circle of life begins. Seeds of new life are being formed. What would seem to be an ending has now become a new beginning. Just as one wave in the ocean leaves the shore, a new wave forms.

My life too is a process of seeming endings that become new beginnings. As I learn more about my Higher Power and my own spiritual nature, I am infused with a new hope and vision.

As I share the joy and expectation I feel for the cycle of life with others, I do so freely, without expectations. Like that new flower that blooms or new wave that forms, I know my Higher Power continues to nurture me. So through His Power I know there are bright new beginnings ahead for me.

A rainbow is made up of bands of several different colors, yet is the blending together of the differences within the rainbow that creates a beautiful, spectacular sight for all to see.

I live in a world of rainbows-a place of many different people. So I dedicate myself to being an example of how one person can make a difference in the world by helping to create an atmosphere of love and harmony.

In this world, each person is essential to the whole and the whole supports each individual. And like the differences within the rainbow in the sky, the diversity of individuals in the world adds to the beauty and harmony of the whole world. Together we reflect harmony in a world of diversity for all to see and to follow.
