I have been an atheist for more years than any other… tho i did drop between agnostic and atheist frequently during this several decades long phase.

Here is the thing about being an atheist, on a pure world peace sense..

Much of the world is theological.

One may not easily create peace by being against something…

Atheist means against theology.

if you give theists no space, they regardless of depth of conviction must be at odds w you… and you have thus joined them in one of the patterns you much admire about them…

n’est pas?

even if your conviction is of no possibility of god in the multiverse… to have peace in this one, one requires a bigger house for disparate ideas…

to rely on the other guy to have the bigger house …
