Love

Today, I release the armor of the past that surrounds my heart. I open to love!

Every day and in every way, I continue to improve my way. Positive energy is a must, for success is my thrust. I plan what is ahead of me, using my time wisely. Following through to improve my soul, I follow through to achieve success and my goals.

Trusting God is Essential for Healthy Living

There is someone I need to remember to care about and for. That is me. When I am feeling my best and doing my best, I am fulfilled and I bless others. I care about and for my loved ones, I do what I can for them. Every day, I remember them in my prayers.

What do I need to do to improve and maintain my own health and well-being? Eating nutritious food, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of rest all fit into a plan for healthy living. Enriching my spiritual life through prayer and meditation enhances me emotionally and physically.

Trusting in God is a great stress reliever. I do trust God in all that concerns my loved ones and me. I am at peace because I know that God’s love enfolds us.

Piece of Cake

Sometimes we wonder, ‘What did I do to deserve this?’

or

‘Why did God have to do this to me?’ Here is a wonderful explanation!

A daughter is telling her mother how everything is going wrong:
she’s failing algebra; her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile,

her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a
snack, and the daughter says, ‘Absolutely, Mom, I love your cake.’

‘Here, have some cooking oil,’ her Mother offers. ‘Yuck,’ says her daughter.

‘How about a couple raw eggs?’ ‘Gross, Mom!’
‘Would you like some flour then?  Or maybe baking soda?’

‘Mom, those are all yucky!’

To which the mother replies: ‘Yes, all those things seem bad by
themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make
a wonderfully delicious cake!

God works the same way.  Many times we wonder why He would let us go
through such bad and difficult times.  But God knows that when He puts
these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have
to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

God is crazy about you.

He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He’ll listen.

He can live anywhere in the universe and He chose your heart.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

I am Faith in Action!

I am stepping out in faith by being a doer rather than an observer. My Higher Power gives me unlimited resources of strength, creativity, wisdom, and love. I use these qualities to the fullest extent of my understanding of them. I am faith in action!

I may not be called upon to tackle a challenge every day. But, if the occasion should arise I know that my faith, combined with my creativity will allow me to move that challenge or move around and past it.

I want every word I say and every action I take to flow from my faith in My Higher Power. My prayer is one of thanksgiving.

Thank You, for showing me that my faith is a steppingstone along my way in a fulfilling, fertile and creative life.

Think about it

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She
hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always
there for her. She told her boyfriend, ‘If I could only see
the world, I will marry you.’

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages
came off, she was able to see everything, including her
boyfriend.

He asked her,’ Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?’ The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn’t expected
that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her
saying: ‘Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before
they were yours, they were mine.’

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a Gift

Today
before you say an unkind word – Think of someone who can’t
speak.

Before
you complain about the taste of your food – Think of someone
who has nothing to eat.

Before
you complain about your husband or wife – Think of someone
who’s crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today
before you complain about life – Think of someone who went
too early to heaven.

Before
whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.

And when
you are tired and complain about your job – Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your
job.

And when
depressing thoughts seem to get you down – Put a smile on
your face and think: you’re alive and still
around.
