An ending that is not of my choosing, a relationship, a job, or a way of life, can be a shock. And even though I myself have made the decision for a change, I may still have much to work through.

I will help myself and those who are dear to me by knowing that every ending is the introduction to a new beginning. Although I may feel anxious about a change, I don’t let such a feeling rob me of the belief that I can do whatever I need to do in my new beginning.

I believe in more than myself, I believe in the spirit of Him that is moving in and through me, providing me with the wisdom and strength I need.

Being an optimum mode of consciousness, it is evident that the body is primarily the result of wisdom, as opposed to method. As such it is the peak experience, the goal and the focal point towards which wisdom, in union with concentration, is constantly aiming.

Through the realization of the body the hope that constitutes the essential dynamic of taking refuge is fulfilled, and thereby meaningful being-for-oneself is achieved. This comes about through the resolution of the conflict between the world as it is and the world as it is imagined to be in ignorance. Once ignorance has been purified through wisdom, the mood of anxiety that was felt in the deepest recesses of the conflict is dissolved. Thus the body is grounded in the immediate experience of oneself and the world as they are. Instead of anxiety, joy becomes the underlying mood of one’s being-in-the-world. In this way the body stands as the culminating point of the process of actualizing authentic being-alone. The anxiety, which was the cause for taking refuge, is overcome through the wisdom that dispels ignorance and, thereby, the hope of finding meaningful being for oneself is fulfilled.

Maybe I have put my dreams for furthering my education or pursuing a special interest on hold because of some responsibility to my family or my job.

Some people may question whether my dreams are even possible. Others may think that even having a dream is but a waste of my time. Yet I know that when my goals are based on guidance from My Higher Power, they can become divine realities.

Whatever I do, I will do it knowing that I am embracing His divine guidance. He inspires me, and I seize the day and every opportunity to fully realize my dreams.

 As I listen to the love of My Higher Power that is speaking to my heart, I can and do forgive. I release any desire to be unforgiving as love reminds me that people can and do make mistakes. Often the words or actions taken by others were not intended to hurt me.

Sometimes the smallest slights are the biggest obstacles to me in being forgiving, especially if those responsible are people I hold dear. Yet I can stop a small mistake from growing into a mountain of grief by forgiving.

The healing love of God opens my mind and heart to forgiveness. Divine love lifts me above challenges and penetrates to the core of others, revealing the spirit of God that is within them.

The potential for a full grown, sturdy plant lives within a tiny mustard seed. Love and understanding, live within each kind word I speak and each kind deed I do.

So I sow the seeds of kindness by speaking words of encouragement and love. I reach out to others and offer my support as they go through times of challenge and achievement. I give the gift of my cheerful smile to the people I see at home and at work. I listen attentively to what is being said and let others know that their thoughts and opinions are important to me.

In all that I do, I treat other with the respect and kindness they deserve. The growth of the seeds of kindness I have sown is a rich and abundant harvest of love.
