The Word of God from the Mouth Pieces of God

There is much talk about downloading thoughts, words and works direct from God or spirits.  Some of us like the prophets Moses and Mohammad, authors like Neal Donald Walsh, and spiritual channels such as Esther Hicks and Edgar Cayce are said to have direct lines to these sources.

How is this possible for some?

Moses on Mount Sinai was said to have received the 10 Commandments in Stone Tablet form written by the finger of God.

Mohammed is believed by millions of devoted Muslims to have received The Qur’an or God’s word ( distinct from hadith, which are the sayings of Mohammad ) revealed directly to him in Arabic by God over a twenty-two year period starting in the Cave of Hira on Mount Hira ( aka Mountain of Light aka Jabal al-nur ) on the outskirts of Mecca beginning in 610 CE ( Common Era aka AD aka Anno Domini aka In the year of our Lord ).

Neal Donald Walsh, author of “Conversations with God,” book series, claims to journal questions to God, which God then answers in an interview format.

Esther Hicks claims regularly to channel Abraham, a collection benevolent of alien spirits, both privately and for large audiences of paying devotees for enlightenment on various topics largely centered around The Law of Attraction ( LOA ).

Many of us pray.  Quite a few of us feel we get answers.

Which of these are spiritual revelation?

In many spiritual traditions and in several New Thought and traditional religions and teachings, there is a faith in the universiality of god.  That god is everywhere.  That there is nowhere where god is not.  That we are in fact all part of god, and all connected in some spiritual form with each other.

That the illusion of separation is a kind of sin or mistake or is just that, illusion.

That we are all in fact part of and one with god, one with one another, and one with the whole which is  the universe.

That is, we are all one with and unified with the universe; and, so are one with and unified with god; and, so are one with and unified with one another.

If we are all in fact one with god and one with each other and cannot be separate, aren’t then the words or thoughts of any of us, of each of us, and of all of us, are they not all downloaded directly from god?

If we cannot be separate from god, and we are all part of god, then are not all our thoughts god’s thoughts?

On some spiritual level, some group consciousness level, is not each of our thoughts also all of our thoughts?

Is not the thought of any of us, the thought of all of us?

There are New Thought concepts that believe there is a universal mind from which all thoughts and knowledge may be and are drawn as needed from an abundant universe, a kind of generous god if you will.

Wouldn’t this universal mind concept then be consistent with a belief that all thoughts are god’s thoughts, all words are god’s word?

Namaste, a Sanskrit word, is a greeting used by Hindus and translates roughly as:

“As I acknowledge and honor the Spirit or God within myself, so do I acknowledge and honor the Spirit or God within you.

I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells.  I honor the place in you which is love, of truth, of light, and of peace.  When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are one.”

This Hindu concept of namaste is also one of a unified oneness of us all and oneness with spirit.

If we are all Spirit, and we are all part of the universal all which is God, if this is true, how can any words or thoughts, regardless of the thought or word, be any but of God, directly downloaded?

And, if one of thus “downloads,” do we not all alway download?

Namaste my friends,

Could the venerable 10 Commandments create less Peace for its Jewish, Christian and Muslim adherents?

How could the venerable 10 Commandments be a cause for anything other than Peace for so many devout Christians, Jews and Muslims who follow its tenets as a broad common unifying thread within all three of these long standing great houses of religious traditions?

Is this even a fair question?

Let us begin first with a refresher of the list itself:

You shall have no other gods before Me.

You shall not make for yourself a carved image–any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Honor your father and your mother.

You shall not murder.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

Now don’t these seem like a pretty good list of pretty good things to be doing?

Well, lets read closer… is any of one of these anything to be doing?

In fact, all but 2 of the 10 Commandments are commandments for things of things not TO BE DOING

The two notable exceptions being:

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Honor your father and your mother.

What do those of us who study The Law of Attraction ( aka LOA, aka The Law ) know about what The Law does with what we think we should not be doing?

That’s right, IT DOES THEM.

All 8 of the not to dos in The 10 Commandments when given thought energy manifest dos.

8 of The 10 Commandments largely do not tell us what to do.

They focus the thoughts of those of us who study them most intently, most intently on what not to do.

On examination, clearly many of these commandments are about not being LIARs, CHEATs, and FAITHLESS.

On the face of it this seems intuitively positive as the negative of a negative.  However, we know that throught action of The Law, focus on the negative of a negative manifests a negative.

What if the these had been written as The 10 Instructions to be TRUTHFUL, HONEST and FAITHFUL?

Can you feel then how they might have had more profoundly positive manifestations?

Yours in peace,

Yucel

I am a Beloved Creation

Walking beside a creek of gently flowing water, I may see hundreds of stones that look alike. Yet when I look at individual stones, I see a great variety of sizes, shapes, colors and textures. Each stone is unique.

I may have tended to view people as alike too. Only after appreciating the uniqueness of the individuals in the world did I see the incredible variety, texture, and shape of His creativity.

We are each one unique. Living and working together, we bring the blessings of our talents and abilities, our goals and dreams to each new day and to one another. There is no lack among us. The uniqueness of each individual contributes something of value to the whole as we let the Spirit within live through us.

Mary Shelley’s Vampires Enter Invited

What harms lay in lies?  “If a lie is told often enough even the teller comes to believe it.  It becomes a habit. And habit is like a cable.  Each day another strand is added until you have woven a cable that is unbreakable.”

So said extra ordinary confidence artist Yellow Kid Weil who on reaching his 70’s immortalized his Great Depression era cons in autobiographical form.  Since its writing, many of Weil’s stories have been further immortalized in sundry media forms including movies such as “The Sting” starringPaul Newman and Robert Redford, “The Flim Flam Man” starringGeorge C. Scott etcetera, etcetera.

Weil continued as he lamented, “It was that way with me. I found it far more interesting and profitable to romance than to tell the truth. It has taken me five years to break that cable.”

In his long career confidence career, Weil claims only to have met one honest man, whom he did not fleece and claims only to have taken men were no more honest than he, easily able to afford the loss, and didn’t care at whose expense they got it and were willing to go in with Weil in schemes they fancied would fleece others.

“They wanted money for its own sake… They knew little — and cared less — about their fellow men.”

“If they had been keener students of human nature, if they had given more time to companionship with their fellows and less to the chase of the almighty dollar, they wouldn’t have been such easy marks.”

“Every swindle I ever developed had a hole in it somewhere. But I made everything plausible — to anyone who did not dig too deep or ask questions.”

How interesting that this idea of Weil’s taking only the dishonest is so very consistent with The Law of Attraction (LOA) which says that things which we have not invited cannot come into our existence.  That as we think, so it is done unto us.

That as we think of fleecing, so we are fleeced.

Doesn’t this also bring to mind what we have so often seen themed in many Dracula movies?  Isn’t it interesting how Mary Shelley’s vampire cannot cross thresholds and enter home and hearth uninvited.

What vampires and lies do we manifest?

How long will it take to cast them out?

According to Jack Rosenberg, better known as Werner Erhard, founder of EST, transformation always occurs in an instant and cannot occur in anything other than an instant.

And after our transforming instants we can manifest any new future, in our present, as we choose.

How bout we choose truth?

Yes, let’s all choose truth now, Yay!!!

Truthfully yours,

Yucel
