Choosing Through Trial Decisions

Trial decisions are a way we can see how a particular decision might resonate with us.  A way to try it on as it were.

When faced with a set of choices, like what to do about buying a new car, you decide on one choice.  Just for now.

Once a decision is made, your guidance center for Law of Attraction (LOA) will be activated.

Your LOA guidance center is your emotional guide.  You read your emotional guide by sensing how does it feel to have made this decission?

Like, hmmm, okay, I’m going to buy the new red Camero with the big engine and have it converted to a convertible… and keep my truck for off road use…  and then sit with that decision for a few minutes.  See how it feels.  Does it feel GREAT?  Does it feel like, oh, dang….  how am I going to pay for all that?  Where will I keep the Camero garaged?  My spouse is going to be angry and make life difficult for me…  Well.  How does this decision feel to you?

Now try option two.  Hmmm, I’m gonna keep my beater truck.  And, my payments will be gone.  And, my spouse will be complaining about the way it looks… How does this option feel?

Now try the next option.  And so on.
The key is to make the decision and to FEEL how it resonates.  It’s not so much the things that will happen when the decision is made as how you feel about those things.
The thing that resonates best, that is, feels the best, is probably the universe telling which decision to make.
If nothing resonates well, you may have to change your perspective and find other options, choose a whole different direction, or if a decision must be made immediately, choose the best feeling of the options you’ve been able to try out.
Next time when faced with choices, maybe give this method a try.
Peacefully yours,

Yucel

I am Filled With the Magnificent Display of Life

When I look at the world around me, I can’t help but be impressed by such a magnificent display of life and creativity. I am filled with awe at the wonder of all that He has created.

With spiritual vision, I perceive that wonder that is within, the miracle of my own soul. I am moved to the heights of wonder knowing His spirit is within all things and that I am giving expression to an inner sacredness.

Each reminder of His presence in me and in the world inspires me. The assurance of His love rises up from within quiet moments of meditation. The radiant hue of a sunrise reminds me to let the light of God within shine out onto the world.

We’re here for a good time

  • “We’re Here for a Good Time, Not a Long Time.”

                                                                         —  Tamara Lynn

Recently this phrase, which I heard at a meeting, brought a smile to my face as it resonated with me and my beliefs on life and our time here.  Though I’m not sure if it was a requote, this had little bearing on the smiles the turn of phrase initiated with me and other folks present, so I jotted it down for your and posterity’s pleasure.

I guess it captures for me in a handy little turn of phrase what is also espoused by many New Thought and Self Help Modalities of nature of what a good life is in the time we have in this incarnation.

Examples of where else we see this philosophy include:

  • Real Love (www.reallove.com) a teaching that goes something like:   If I feel badly, I am doing or thinking something wrong.
  • Abraham Hicks (www.abraham-hicks.com/lawofattractionsource/index.php) teaches we to be choosing better feeling thoughts
  •  Alcoholics Anonymous strives for and believes in a Creator who wants us to be Happy, Joyous and Free

This list is by no means exhaustive as many of the gamut of self help books out there generally say something to this effect.

And how to have a good time?

Well, if I am grateful, allowing, present, and have done the work to know what I want, I’m usually pretty peaceful and happy.

What makes you happy and peaceful?

Happily yours,

Yucel

Acceptance

And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation—some fact of my life—unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God’s world by mistake. Unless I accept life completely on life’s terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes.

The Boomerang Game

” The game of life is the game of boomerangs. Our thoughts, deeds and words return to us sooner or later with astounding accuracy.”

 — Florence Scovel Shinn

When we begin to comprehend that what we are sending out is going to return to us, whether we like it or not, then making the effort daily to live by the Golden Rule really, really, really starts to make sense.

May that which you send forth daily create most glorious tomorrows.
