Let Us Move Forward

As adults we want to move forward with our lives. Yet we cannot move forward if we hold on to our sorrows and regrets of yesterday. Children are marvelous people. They can move past the mistakes and pains of yesterday in away that lets them forgive themselves and others. They let go and move forward with new growth and understanding.

We should give thanks for our experiences and what they have taught us. We can forgive ourselves and others for the mistakes or regrets that have occurred. We may not always fully understand what has occurred but we can move forward with the Greater understanding of His love and forgiveness of our past.

New Beginnings of Hope

Even before the blossom of a vibrant and glorious flower begins to fade and wither, the circle of life begins. Seeds of new life are being formed. What would seem to be an ending has now become a new beginning. Just as one wave in the ocean leaves the shore, a new wave forms.

My life too is a process of seeming endings that become new beginnings. As I learn more about my Higher Power and my own spiritual nature, I am infused with a new hope and vision.

As I share the joy and expectation I feel for the cycle of life with others, I do so freely, without expectations. Like that new flower that blooms or new wave that forms, I know my Higher Power continues to nurture me. So through His Power I know there are bright new beginnings ahead for me.

Everyting happens in the now

I have become much more present this last year or so.  And, the more modalities I study, the more I hear about being present.  Omega Vector,  web site:  http://omegavector.org/ , talks about being present.  Science of Mind, web site:  http://newvisionaz.org/ , talks about being present.

Harry Palmer, in “Living Deliberately” states  “the past influences you as long as you let it… the past and future do not exist unless I deliberately… decide to create a memory or image of them in the present.  The PAST is not the source of the present; the PRESENT is the source of the future!”  Harry’s work is the foundation of Avatar.  More info is avail at:  http://www.integral-transformation.com .

Omega Vector is a non profit Phoenix based group that I have heard was spun off from EST.  EST also spun off Landmark Forum, a Phoenix based for profit group.  This concept of presence as portrayed by all of these, and many more modes is very similar in nature, and yet are all shaded slightly differently.

Harry’s words resonate in my mind as a way of saying, only in the present does the past exist.  So, when we are stuck in our stories, stories of what has happened in the past, we are stuck in the presentThe story exists in the present.  The past exists only in the present.   This past Sunday, Dr. Medrano of New Vision Center was saying how everyone we have ever known, everything that has come before us, exists in us.  Well yes it does, to the extent we allow it toWe have choiceWe can give life to whatever story we choose, and by our choosing, we can create the future… IN THE PRESENT.

Everything happens in the present, including the past and the future.

Peace and presence be with you,

I Live a Life of Understanding

If a burning match is placed in an airtight container, the fire will be extinguished. Without oxygen to feed the flame, the fire cannot last.

And I know from my own experiences that when I forgive the actions of someone, I extinguish any angry thoughts within my mind so that I can be at peace.

Forgiveness moves me past replaying the events in my mind and working myself into a frenzy. Any spark of resentment or anger is quickly snuffed out by forgiveness.

As I picture the situation and the person surrounded by love, I am able to release everything into His care and keeping. With my Higher Power as my constant inspiration, I am able to forgive and live my life from the love and understanding within me.

In Prayer and Meditation, a Sweet Peace Sweeps over My Soul

A hectic schedule can leave me feeling drained of energy and strength. Some mornings, just getting out of bed and handling the routine of the day can be a challenge. Responsibilities at work and home may have me wondering how much more I can possibly endure.

Yet before I make changes in my schedule and my life, I first focus within and cultivate a feeling of peace. I do this by turning to prayer and meditation. In the quiet and peaceful state of meditation, I feel the presence of a sweet serenity that sweeps over my soul to renew and restore me.

I feel a resurgence of energy to do all that is necessary today. I perform my tasks and responsibilities to the best of my ability and feel at peace with myself. Ready to start the next day anew.
