In My Quite Talks with Him, I Discover True Peace

Where do I go to receive answers to the questions on my mind or to discuss my innermost concerns? The answer lies within the quiet sanctuary of my soul, for there I commune with Him.

As I speak, He listens. Without condemning me, He listens to my thoughts and concerns. I know that He is aware of all that I have experienced and understands how I feel, but being able to voice my thoughts fills me with an immediate sense of peace.

As I listen, He speaks to me. There is a sacred trust between my Higher Power and me-a bond that can never be broken. As I listen to the guidance I receive from Him, I relax and feel divine love assuring me of what I am to do. In my quiet talks with Him, I experience the presence of Him in every Fiber of my being.

Sweetness

Sweetness is closer to bitterness than it is to decay, no matter how sweet it smells.

The essence of everything on earth, seen and unseen, is spiritual. On entering the invisible city my body is covered by my spirit. Who so seeks to cleave the body from the spirit, or the spirit from the body is turning his heart away from the truth. The flower and its fragrance are one; they are blind who deny the color and the image of the flower, saying that it possesses only a fragrance vibrating in the ether. They are like those, deficient in the sense of smell, to whom flowers are naught but shapes and hues without fragrance.

Everything in creation exists within you, and everything in you exists in creation. You are in borderless touch with the closest things, and, what is more, distance is not sufficient to separate you from things far away. All things from the lowest to the loftiest, from the smallest to the greatest, exist within you as equal things. In one atom are found all the elements of the earth. On drop of water contains all the secrets of the oceans. In one motion of the mind are found all the notions of all the laws of existence.

Call Me By My True Names

Please call me by my true names, So I can hear all my cries and my laughs at once, So I can see that my joy and pain are one.

My joy is spring, so warm it makes the flowers bloom. My pain is like a river of tears, so full it fills the oceans.

My joy is summer with its long sun lit nights. My pain is an arctic winter, so cold it cuts to the wick, —-so dark I cannot see my soul.

My joy is fall, with its colors all aglow. My pain is addiction, so cruel and haunting, —–it rots my mind and body and sequesters my soul.

Please call me by my true names, So I can wake up, So the door to my heart can be left open. So I can see that my joy and pain are one.

Make a wish

Next time you make a wish, wish for what is, because really and truly, things don’t get much better than this.

There is a purpose, a plan, and a reason for all things. What doesn’t make sense, will make sense. You are exactly where you should be; your challenges are what they should be; your rewards are what they should be; and the best is yet to come. Time has served you well. Love is in the air. And you’re looking mighty good in the light that now surrounds you.

Thank You, for Blessings that are Greater than My Highest Expectations

I am so thankful that You do not limit my blessings to only my or the expectations of others.

At one time, I thought I was giving all the love I was capable of giving. Then You sent someone who caused love to surge from my heart. I learned that because You love through me, I always have more love to give.

Just when I thought I had done all I could do to move past a negative habit, You told me, Give any concern or fear of failure to Me, and I will give you the strength and power to overcome

I try never to limit my expectations of Your blessings. I am so very thankful that Your blessings surpass my highest expectations.
