Life is filled with suffering, but it is also filled with many wonders, like the blue sky, the sunshine, and the clear eyes of a baby. To suffer is not enough. We must also be in touch with the wonders of life. They are within us and all around us, everywhere, at any time.

If we are not happy, if we are not peaceful, we cannot share peace and happiness with others, even those we love, those who live under the same roof. If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, will benefit from our peace.

Do we need to make a special effort to enjoy the beauty of the blue sky? Do we have to practice to be able to enjoy it? No, we just enjoy it. Each second, each minute of our lives can be like this. Wherever we are, any time, we have the capacity to enjoy the sunshine, the presence of each other, even the sensation of our breathing. We don’t need to go to the mountains to enjoy the blue sky or go to the ocean to hear the sound of a wave. We don’t have to travel into the future to enjoy today. We can be in touch with these things right now. It would be a pity if we are only aware of suffering. 

I am powerful. I send love and light to every living thing on this earth. I receive love and light from everybody around me.

There is an endless world of possibilities and potential that awaits me when I am aware of the truth that sets me free. His loving presence is always with me, for He and I are one.

Knowing that His presence is within me frees my thoughts so that I can move into the realm of great possibilities. With Him, all things are possible and every positive peaceful thought I think has an influence on my own life and on the lives of others.

Thought by thought, I bring New Hope and faith to the world. Thought by thought, I am living my spiritual freedom in every moment of my life.

YES, I am living in the spiritual freedom that He created me to live. 

I have an uncluttered mind. I see everything clearly. I understand everything perfectly.

There is a new dawn breaking for me today, for this is a day in which hope and faith, courage and determination are reborn.

I feel a rebirth of peace rising within me. My Higher Power has given me understanding about both the challenges and opportunities that lay before me.

With the dawn of the new day, He shows me that what may have looked like a mountain only yesterday is in reality only a small hill. I move forward in a life of learning and accomplishment.

This is a new day, and I am reborn. I experience a spiritual rebirth in which I am renewed both emotionally and physically. I thank God that thought by thought, cell by cell, I am healed and renewed. 

Although I may be very small in contrast to the totality of our vast universe I KNOW that the SPECK that represents me in this world Shines as brightly and perfectly as any of the stars shining above us in the night sky.

Whenever I feel that I am confused or that my life is in disorder, I remember these words from the book of Proverbs: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart … In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.”

These simple words reaffirm what I know in my heart is true: He is always with me, enfolding me in love and assuring me that all is in divine order. Divine order is His plan for me.

Relying on my Higher Power calms my thoughts. I feel secure because I know that He will lead me to the people and events which will contribute to my spiritual growth and fulfillment. All is in divine order because He is the order that supports and surrounds me. 

I am a teacher, and my best student is myself. I’m not perfect. I look at my mistakes as learning possibilities. I learn from my mistakes and always do better each time I try!

What does it mean to dedicate to my life? It means that the actions I take and the choices I make convey the very character and nature of divine love.

I am dedicated to living a divinely directed life. And from such a dedication, I find that I am never satisfied with doing anything less than what blesses me because I am being a blessing to others.

I act in loving ways and respond to others with understanding. As I do, I lay a foundation for living that will be a source of inspiration for the next generation to build upon.

I am dedicated to being the best person I can be. Listening to divinely inspired ideas and following the guidance I receive, I fulfill my role in life. 

Life is what I make of it. I have control over my own life. I gain strength from struggles I have won. I gain wisdom from my experiences. I gain joy from the love in my own heart.
