Meditation Restores the Soul

There is no time like the present to become still in a moment of sweet surrender and incline my heart to rest, receptivity, and resurrected splendor in God. I offer myself the frequent gift of meditation, for it restores my soul.

I always use the correct words to express myself and I find people responding to me in an authentic way. I reveal my enlightened nature every day and look for only good in others. I find myself growing in wisdom, courage and good health and responding to others with compassion.

As You Will

The gifts of the Spirit spill out through me daily as peace, joy, wisdom, intelligence, healing, and love. God presents the best of life to me, and I am free to use my creative talent and energy as I will.

It is of great value for you to give your conscious attention to what you specifically want, otherwise you can be swept up by the influence of that which surrounds you. You are bombarded by the stimulation of thought. And so, unless you are setting forth the thought that is important to you, you can be stimulated by another’s thought that may or may not be important to you.

He Blesses Me with Peace

At the innermost depth of my mind and heart, His spirit resides. The gentle touch of divine Spirit sweeps over my soul, assuring me that whatever I need, He is the fulfillment.

Every beat of my heart reminds me of His love for me. As I allow my mind and body to relax in the sacred presence of His unconditional love, I begin to feel peaceful and at rest.

Gently, quietly, He speaks to me, and I relax into the calm of love and peace that is permeating every cell of my body.

My trust in Him is complete, for I know that, at the deepest level of my being, He and I are one. In that oneness, the love and peace, which are my spiritual heritage, will lead me in experiencing the wholeness of my life and my spirituality.

Peace Work

“Each day 40,000 children die of hunger. The superpowers now have more than 50,000 nuclear warheads, enough to destroy our planet many times. Yet the sunrise is beautiful, and the rose that bloomed this morning along the wall is a miracle. Life is both dreadful and wonderful…If in our daily life we can smile, if we can be peaceful and happy, not only we, but everyone will profit from it. This is the most basic kind of peace work.

–Thich Nhat Hanh

Let’s face it the world is a mess. God didn’t make it that way. We did. But until we realize that world change is not going to occur at the hands of governments or organized protests, the mess has no real chance of getting cleaned up. No election is going to save us. No new super power is going to make everything good again, and no war on anything is ever going to bring peace. Real and lasting change depends on people, not governments. It depends on people who are courageous enough to forgive their neighbors and love their enemies and look around them and see miracles everywhere. It depends on people who understand, as Mother Teresa did, that all works of love are works of peace.

It depends on you and me.

May you always have the courage to change to world.
